Bible Note: John, You totaly side stepped all I've asked of you. You being the defender of christian liberties and all. But I do have a scripture for you with a question maybe you will answer. The Bible speaks of not even "looking" upon wine, yet alone exercising our liberties. God also says you can drink deadly poisons and it won't harm you. Do we as christians exercise this liberty on a daily basis?: Prov.23:31-35 "Do not LOOK on the wine when it is red, When it sparkles in the cup, When it swirls around smoothly; At the last it bites like a serpent, And stings like a viper. Your eyes will see strange things, And your heart will utter perverse things. Yes, you will be like one who lies down in the midst of the sea, Or like one who lies at the top of the mast, saying: 'They have struck me, but I was not hurt; They have beaten me, but I did not feel it. When shall I awake, that I may seek another drink?' " My question is in order to actually obey Gods Word, don't all christians have to drink blindfolded then? |
