Bible Note: Hello John, I see exactly were your coming from. And I appreciate your respect for the Word of God. I agree with you that the scriptures you started out with in this thread is fermented. I assume it was very little though do to the fact that they had to drink alot of it to get a buzz. I'm sure it wasn't like malt liquore, or Boonze Farm. Do those scriptures you posted condone getting a buzz? If so then can I go and get buzzed off some weed. Because just as you like drinking a couple of beers to relax, I aslo like my vicodine and weed to relax, because thats how I get down. I gave them up a couple of years ago, not because I was immature or stupid when I was on It. I can handle my weed better than you probably can two beers. But I gave them up because I got tired of my friends calling me a hypocrite. They said I was still just like them. Now if your saying all I have to do is act responsible with my God given liberty of being able to get a....little buzzed up. Well it just don't sound like the God who said that no strong drink should even touch the lips of John the Baptist, who was to prepare the way for Christ. Are we not also preparing the way for Christ. Or should I be practicing my God given liberties for the big party at the end. Matt |
