AMPLIFIED 2015 | Exodus 4:21 ¶ The LORD said to Moses, "When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders (miracles) which I have put in your hand, but I will harden his heart and make him stubborn so that he will not let the people go. |
Subject: Why was his heart hardened? |
Bible Note: Thank you for your post. Would you please read Ezekiel 33:11, and 2 Peter 3:9, and tell me how it is possible to reconcile "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked", and "not wishing that any should perish, but but that all should reach repentance", with John 12:40, which you quote? Please explain why the Lord who has made it clear that He does not will that any should perish, then appears to be saying that He hardens hearts to stop them from being healed? |
