Bible Question: Who hardened pharoahs heart, God or pharoah? |
Bible Answer: Pharoah hardened his own heart, it is unthinkable to suggest that God would do anything to prevent a person accepting Him. Pharoah was considered to be a god by the Egyptians, he allready had a hard heart, and considered that he was in competion with the tribal god of the Hebrews. When it says "the LORD hardened Pharoah's heart", all it means is that an allready hard man was made even harder as a result of what the Lord our God did to the land of Egtpt. It is put this way ,however, so that you have yet another opertunity to exercise faith in God, as required at Heb 11:6. |
