I am John Bakas, I am in my mid fifties and live in Riverview, Florida, U.S.A. (about 12 miles south of Tampa.) I am happily married to my best friend, Terri.

Until about age 37, I was an atheist. Thus, I have not been a born-again child of God during most of my life. My degree is in philosophy, so I was supposed to know how to think clearly. But I was led astray by the elementary principles of the world and what the world calls knowledge. However, something a teacher said way back in college helped cause me to review my understanding of the world, resulting in a realization that it was mostly hogwash (that’s a technical philosophical term).

Since being born again, I enjoy Bible study and fellowship with other Christians.

I pray that all I say gives glory to God through knowledge from the Holy Spirit for the praise and honor of Jesus Christ.

My interests are systematic theology (study of the major doctrines of the Bible), apologetics (the reasoned defense of Christianity), epistemology (study of how we know), and drag racing (drag racing).
