Subject: inherit the sin of Adam |
Bible Note: Hi Doc, This is something that I have never really clearly understood. With that in mind. . . If each and every person is held guilty of Adam's sin, then how does that fit with the many passages that tell us that we will each be judged according to our own works? (such as Ezekiel 18, Revelation 19) I know that I am doomed by my sin nature to sin, and that my body and soul have been corrupted because of Adam's transgression, and will die. I just can't seem to understand where the concept of second death comimg from Adam's sin and not just from my own comes from in scripture. Love in Christ, Mark |
