AMPLIFIED 2015 | Psalm 25:18 Look upon my affliction and my trouble, And forgive all my sins. |
Bible Question: how then does this relate to 2 cor 5:19 where it says God reconciled the world to Himself and is not holding anyone's sins against them? |
Bible Answer: Hello packer The same way that the following shows we still sin and need to confess the sin: 1 John 1:8-9 (ESV) If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The sin nature still works in us (see Rom 7). We need to be seeking God for cleansing of these. Steve |
