Bible Question: is there an example after jesus' death on the cross? after he had made payment for sin? |
Bible Answer: Hello packer The English word "forgive" is not use in an address to God after the Gospels. It is demonstrated as applicable in: Acts 7:60 (ESV) And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." And when he had said this, he fell asleep. It's also demonstrated to be normative in: Matthew 6:12 (ESV) and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Steve |
