Bible Note: Dear Tim, Thanks for you response. I believe God is the author of the whole Bible. The point I was making is that the book of Leviticus was to the priesthood and must be left out, because Jesus, becoming the High Priest, fulfilled all sacrifices with one sacrifice and all statutes and ordinances were nailed to the cross with Jesus. I made the mistake of quoting from Leviticus and referring to the book as law, when it is not the Law, it is filled with statutes and ordinances which are different. I was responding to fact that you mentioned circumsision and sacrifices for atonement as laws. They were statutes and ordinances for the priesthood, not law for civilians and I apologize for any misunderstanding. God never asked for offerings or sacrifices and they were man made as I supported with Scripture in the previous post. I hope this helps answer your question. Bless you, Love Fountain |
