Rev 21:4 also tells us there will be no crying in Heaven. God will wipe every tear from their eyes - What would prompt these tears?
342 | Who has been silenced? | Rev 8:1 | Mommapbs | 149180
Searcher - what do you make of the "silence"? Who has been silenced? Has the praise and worship of God ceased? If so, what might God's reaction be to the cessation of worship? mommapbs |

343 | When does this take place? | Rev 12:10 | Mommapbs | 47150
Is Satan thrown out of heaven before or after the church is caught up to be with the Lord?
344 | Accusing like judging? | Rev 12:10 | Mommapbs | 47476
"But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another." Psalm 75:7 Since there is only one JUDGE, when Satan brings charges against believers, is this an attempt to deify himself as issuing a form of judgment?
345 | Who are these? | Rev 13:6 | Mommapbs | 44953
Who are "those that dwell in heaven?" The cross reference to this verse is Rev 7:15 which suggests that these are the great tribulation saints. Yet the next verse states: "It was also given to him to make war with the saints." Who are these two groups? |

346 | Sealing of the 144,000? | Rev 14:1 | Mommapbs | 45596
More questions Makarios! Citing the following Scriptures you wrote, "The 144,000 will be resurrected first" "And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel" Rev. 7:4; "I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn." Zech. 12:10 How do you conclude this from these passages? What is the meaning of the 144,000 being sealed, is it the same as described by Paul in the following passages? 2 Cor 1:22 "who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge." Eph 4:30: "you were sealed for the day of redemption." We read in Rev 14:3 that 144,000 are "redeemed." They are further described as being an offering or "firstfruits". Could this be that these chosen 144,000 Jews are the first converts to accept Jesus as Messiah AFTER the rapture of the Church? (See info on this verse in NASB) As always, I'm thinking out of the box! Blessings, Mommapbs |

347 | Two different groups of 144,000? | Rev 14:1 | Mommapbs | 46297
Using this as my logic train: "Thy will be done on earth as is IS in Heaven." (Matthew 6:10) suggests action on earth as a result of the reality of Heaven. Premise: There are Heavenly patterns and Earthly copies. (As opposed to satan's counterfeits!) Here are some I came up with: Man was created in the image of God (Gen 2:7) See also 1 Cor 15:45 The earthly tabernacle has a Heavenly counterpart. (Gen 25:9) It is also interesting to note that John saw the "Ark of the Covenant" in the Heavenly Temple. (Rev 11:19) Because we see a pattern of things in heaven being copied on earth, consider also Mount Zion. "But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly," Hebrews 12:22 Although the heavenly mount Zion is mirrored on earth in many references, I've chosen Joel 2:32 - "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call." Keeping these two references in mind, Consider Rev 14:1 "Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads." Where is THIS mount Zion of Rev 14:1 located? At this point in the Revelation of Jesus to John, the Second Coming of Christ has not occurred. Therefore, I believe that this scene of worship that John describes takes place on mount Zion in Heaven, not on mount Zion on Earth. This then leads me to my next question: "Who are these 144,000?" Because the description of the 144,000 of Rev 14 is different from those of Rev 7, is it reasonable to conclude that perhaps the 144,000 redeemed of Rev 14 are the "heavenly pattern" that we see copied in the 144,000 sealed from the tribes of Israel in Rev 7? Consider: the 144,000 sealed of Rev 7 will be chosen from the tribes of Israel. But according to Rev 14:4, this group of 144,000 are redeemed. They were "purchased,” (bought with the blood of Jesus) "from every tribe and tongue and people and nation." See Rev 5:9. Therefore, can we conclude that the 144,000 "saints" of Rev 14 are a select group of Christ's followers who reside in Heaven and who will accompany Him on His return to earth as described in Rev 17:14, 19:14? |

348 | Compare Rev 16:17 with John 19:30? | Rev 16:17 | Mommapbs | 46463
Let's look at two "endings: Jesus last words, "It is finished" (John19:30) and the proclamation of the angel, "It is done." (Rev 16:17) Although the Greek word for "done" is not the same as "finish," is it possible to compare or contrast these two Scriptures? |

349 | Who and When? | Rev 17:14 | Mommapbs | 46744
"These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful." Rev 17:14 Are there three groups mentioned here? 1. "the called" 2. (the) chosen 3. (the) faithful OR Does this verse describe just ONE group of followers? Who are these or they? WHEN does this happen? |

352 | What is the "straight and narrow gate"? | Rev 19:8 | Mommapbs | 123992
Country Girl, Jesus did more than "set a whole standard of behavior for the whole world." Was it really "His influence" that has preserved the world to date? What is "the straight and narrow gate to Heaven?" You indicated the possibility for man to "stay up with God's standard of doing anything decent" - is this ever possible according to God's Wotd, ie our righteousness is as "filthy rags" (Is 64:6)in God's sight. There is no one who does good (Ps 14:3) Rom 3:23 No one has met God's standard at any time (except One!). This being the case, how is one clothed with "fine linen?" Note, "It was GIVEN to her to clothe herself in fine linen" Where do our righteous acts come from? See John 15:5 What do you think will happen to the "good" things a believer does on his/her own initiative? Blessings, mommapbs |

353 | Riders and "reigners"? | Rev 19:14 | Mommapbs | 44024
Who are these other riders with Jesus? I heard a minister claim that these are "raptured" believers who will return with Christ to reign for 1,000 years. It's not that I don't like riding horses, but aren't the Armies of Heaven the angelic host? Where does Scripture indicate that "raptured" believers will reign with Christ?
354 | When is this reign? | Rev 19:14 | Mommapbs | 44031
Greetings Steve! WHEN does this reign take place is my question, during the 1000 years or in Eternity? What are your thoughts? Mommapbs
355 | WHO are the "nations?" | Rev 20:8 | Mommapbs | 45605
After reading the previous thread on this verse I still have a question about the "nations." Since this event follows the thousand year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth, WHO are these "nations?" WHO survived the great wrath of God and the great battle decribed in Rev 19:17-21? Let's identify WHO is on the earth during Christ's reign, can we reason that the "nations" of Rev 20:8 come from these? WHO has the capacity to choose to rebel against Christ at this point in time? Certainly not the resurrected saints (Rev 20:4-6)! So who is left? |

356 | Armegeddon question? | Rev 20:8 | Mommapbs | 45678
Greetings again jme! It seems we disagree about the battle of Armegeddon and it's timing. You described the battle of Armegeddon as "Gods war against all False religon and people not wanting to do God's will." Where do you see this in God's Word? You wrote: God always provides a means of escape to the people worshiping him with sprit and thruth. ( shown by history) Some will survie Armageddon" Where do you see this? "and many from all the nations of people that have died will be ressureccted into that 1000 year rein." Please support this statement!"These (those resurrected?)will not have been tested so the Bible says that many will fail this test." Are you saying that the battle of Armegeddon precedes the 1000 year reign of Christ? We may have some controversy here. Which is this battle described in Rev. 20:7-10 After this final battle, all will be resurrected to stand before the Throne of God for their final judgment.(Rev 20:11-15) Mommapbs |

358 | Temple and No Temple? | Rev 21:22 | Mommapbs | 62211
Throughout the Revelation of Jesus Christ there are many references to the Temple of God. Why will there be no need for a Temple in the New Jerusalem? How is the presence of God different here?
