1 | the name of G-d? | Judg 11:39 | skccab | 199746
Shalom Halroy The short answer to you is "no." Using "God" or "Lord" is Not profaning, nor blaspheming, nor using His name in vain. If you had finished reading the thread you would have seen that I told brother John that I wrote that post to him quickly (on the run as it were) and I just wrote it out without thinking. :-) It's simply a matter of choice that I have made, personally. Abba sees into the heart, He doesn't need to see what we've writter here on this forum (or anywhere else, for that matter). There are some people who refer to God as "the Big Guy" or "the Dude upstairs", (no one here at SBF)and for all I know they may be using those terms as reverently as I try to use the terms I choose to use - it's not for any of us to judge their hearts (maybe their actions)- Abba knows their hearts and intents. If I caused a problem for anyone I beg your forgiveness - but Abba knows my heart is only for Him. Cheri |

2 | the name of G-d? | Judg 11:39 | halroy | 199815
Hi Cheri, Did some more searching online and found more information that leads me to understand why you use the terminology that you do. Yeshua saves, amen? Act 4:11 This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. Act 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." may you be richly blessed, halroy |

3 | the name of G-d? | Judg 11:39 | skccab | 199816
Shalom halroy, Amen, indeed He does, to the fullest!! Hallelu-yah. I am richly blessed in all things. Especially in brethren who love God's Messiah (whether they call him Jesus or Yeshua). Thank you so much, my brother, for getting back to me with your note. May you grow in the knowledge and love of our Lord Yeshua Messiah Cheri |
