1 | Who or what was sacrificed? | Judg 11:39 | skccab | 199830 | ||
Hank, My previous post to yours, is not a screaming okay. I usually don't write the whole word out, I just use the letters (capitalized). You say it's an English-speaking Forum, that's all good and fine. But if you folks can say Alpha and Omega (which is not English), then why can I not say Alef and Tov? You guys say Christ (again, not English), so why can't I say Messiah? Y'all also use a lot of other latin terms and phrases - so where's the difference if I try to put a little bit of Hebrew back into Christianity? After all, our Master is not Latin, or Greek, or English. He's Hebrew, He's Israeli, He's Jewish, and nothing in the world is ever going to change that. If I've offended you folks in any way, please accept my apologies, that has never been my intention. If you guys want me to quit posting here, I will - with a broken heart, but I'll do it. The Father has put a fire in my heart for His people, His language, His land and His Holy Word and that's it. I have no other words right now.... Cheri |

Dear Cheri, Where'd you get the idea that Hebrew is God's language? If any be His, you'd have to say it'd be the one that was spoken in the garden, before language was confused at the tower of Babble! Gen 11:9 Sorry Cheri, but it seems a bit superstitious. I'm not offended at all by the way, but I have to agree with Hank, your lingo may indeed confuse, really Sister Cheri, nonconformity is not good for the Body as a whole. You know I care deeply for you my Sister, please know my heart. You may talk any way you want to me personally, if fact you can e me and chew on me all you want! But please, here at the forum, in view of all, lets try to be all on the same page, OK? You have to admit My dear Sister Cheri, that it sure has caused a stir! And some may fear I think, you are trying to become a Jew. I'm not saying you are at all but it may have that aperence and thats not so good. Gal 2:12 God bless John |

Amen Mr. B Actually, though, didn't Paul, mostly speak and preach in Greek? As did, John Mark, Dr. Luke and John, for that mater? :-) And I may be wrong but, didn't our lord speak Aramaic too as well as Hebrew? It all seems kinda silly really, to put Him in a box and say He is this nationality or that. He is really none of those thing's and He is all of those thing's! He's really so much bigger than that isn't He. |
