The word Trinity is not found in the bible. But a good way I use to explain it is 1. God the Father thinks it. 2. Jesus the Son speaks it. 3. The Holy Spirit does it. Another way to put it which is hard for me to explain. is God the father says... The says part is Jesus. The power of God is the Holy Spirit who is 100 percent dedictated to Jesus the son. Jesus is also the glory of God. The Holy Spirit is present on Earth today. (The trinity isn't easy to explain) |

Greetings, Darcy! You wrote: "1. God the Father thinks it. 2. Jesus the Son speaks it. 3. The Holy Spirit does it. " This isn't quite accurate, as we see the Father speaking things and doing this, and Jesus thinking things and doing things, and the Holy Spirit thinking things and saying things. The best way to explain the Trinity is to look at what Scripture teaches; 1. The Father is God. 2. Jesus the Son is God. 3. The Holy Spirit is God. 4. The Father is neither the Son nor the Spirit. 5. The Son is neither the Father nor the Sprit. 6. The Spirit is neither the Father nor the Son. Blessings to you! --Joe! |

Greetings Joe! My old theology professor used to say that 'every attempt to explain the Trinity has been declared a heresy'! (Dr. Paul Fetters) I always get a kick out of that statement. :-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Change the word "explain" to "simplify" and I agree completely! :) --Joe! |
