Greetings Dschaertel! Allow me to respond my friend! 1) Tree of Knowledge: I must have missed something somewhere. You were the one who thought that the tree wasn't real. I responded that it was and that it had some interesting properties. So, I'm not sure what you are responding to my friend! 2) Canon: My statement: "But, the New Testament does recoginize, and deal with, the fact that only some books are God-breathed" was intended to refer to books outside of the New Testament. I apoligize if I did not make myself clear enough. My point was that all Scripture is inspired, but not all writtings are Scripture. The canon reflects the judgement of the church that these 27 books are inspired, while others are not. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
