Pastor Glen, Hi there, Look at 2pet, 3:5-8, jer. 4:23-28,ex 10:21,joel 2:31, Gen 1: 28,Gen 1:2, what was holding the waters up if there were not land below, land never appeared before vers 6.. Bloodline,Notice the people in line and look up their relationship to God. Matthew 1:1-17.These are royal generations, 14, lay generations, 14 royal generations, and the sum of Jewesh ancesters from abraham to Jesus. There was not any one of these people who were pagans or idoliters. The preflood theroy is not a new one, if you look carefully starting with Gen, the word replentish occures. Look at it carefully and get the meaning of the word. This is all the notes I can find for now, Ill try to find the rest of them. DL5

DL5, 2 Pet 3 5For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. Compare this to Ps 24 "...founded it upon the seas...": 1 The earth is the LORD's, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. 2For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. also notice "...fountains of the great deep were broken up...": Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. "what was holding the waters up if there were not land below". Biblically, it appears that the waters are now holding up the land. "...the earth standing out of water and in the water..." |

Pastor Glen, good discussion, look at Gen 1:28, give me your interpretation, So God created man in his own immage, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be frutefull, and multiply, and replentish the earth. Womans creation wasnt untill cpt.2:21.Why would God say for them in cpt 1 to replentish the earth. If it wasnt populated before Gen 1:1? DL5

Jesus connected Genesis chapters 1 and 2: Mat 19 4And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made[1] them at the beginning "made them male and female,'[Genesis 1:27; 5:2] 5and said, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'?[Genesis 2:24] I have no good answer for the statement "replenish the earth". Maybe someone else can add to this. Pastor Glenn |

Pastor Glen, You still havent answered my question man was created in Gen cpt1, male and female, but Adam wasnt created untill cpt 2 vers 7, and eve wasnt created untill cpt 2:21-22. I try to get people to tell me their idea and not the idea of some book writer.Do you think that these male and female men and women were prior to Gen 1:1. I want to know what you think. DL5

DL5, Adam was the man created in chapters 1, as well as, in chapter 2. This is not two separate creation stories. Prior to Genesis 1:1 there was God, not man, not woman. I am somewhat offended by gap theories and pure and unpure bloodline theories, because these were used by the KKK and other racist to explain thier racism. If we fail to remember history, we are destined to repeat it. Pastor Glenn |
