[see Acts chapter 15 for context] In a similar sense, as Christians, we are absolutely responsible for keeping the commandments of Christ [John 14:15,21,24]. Christ's commandment is summed up nicely (by Christ) in John 15:12, though you will find it written in many places in the scriptures.
