I agree entirely, CDBJ, the passage in Hebrews 6 is a hypothetical. I like Charles Spurgeon's classic sermon on this passage, which can be accessed at www.Spurgeon.org. If this passage teaches that a regenerate believer can lose his salvation (which I firmly believe it does not), then it also teaches that it can never been regained. There is no example in all of Scripture of anyone who was saved twice. This is a good thread with a good theme, by the way, and can be very instructive if, of course, we the participants in it exert restraint so that it doesn't deteriorate into a shouting match and take great care that it is calmly explored based on what Scripture actually teaches on the subject. So far, so good! Blessings, Chuck. --Hank

Hi Hank, I don’t want to belabor the point with the same verses over and over again, I am just posting what I have found, take it or leave it for anyone who wants it; I have no ax to grind either way.
