Thank you for your post. It is heartening to know that the Holy Spirit does not leave us. I have heard some people argue, though, that when we sin (and I know I often do) He cannot remain within us and so temporarily withdraws from us (until, I suppose, we confess our sins and are washed clean). Is that, in your opinion, just heresy? Or are there Scriptures to back this? In His love, Bhawna |

Greetings Bhawna, Please read these comforting words from Romans Chapter 8, 38 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord". Nothing can cause us to lose our salvation,we serve a God of truth and mercy, He would not leave us without complete assurance it is everywhere in His word. Read all of Rom. chap 8 and you will see how the Spirit is with us. respectfully, |
