1 | verse explains nonChrist knowing savior | 2 Cor 5:15 | jaydnson | 178145
I know I read in the bible about how God will judge those you live by the world laws who don't know Jesus Christ and those who know Jesus Christ and are held by those laws. I can't find it again. That explained to me how Christ died for all and sins of all mankind were forgiven. What I read also explained that those not taught about Jesus Christ can also get to Heaven. Where did I read this or did I read this in another book and it is not in the bible? In Christ's name, Kim |

2 | verse explains nonChrist knowing savior | 2 Cor 5:15 | NCIC | 178146
2 Corinthinans 5:15 "...And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again." There are other scriptures that say that Christ has died for all men and that his death is for all mens sins, but, "..all men have not faith" (2 Thessalonians 3:2). But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) It is most important to realize that we must make sure that we are born of God by believing in His Son Jesus and have forgiveness and a living relationship with Him. He then can help us see how we can best help all other men/women see and believe in Jesus to become a partaker of His wonderful gift. |

3 | No knowlege of Christ can be saved? | 2 Cor 5:15 | jaydnson | 178152
In our bible discussion I made the point that the billions of people that have lived and do live in China that have never heard the word of Jesus Christ do have the opportunitiy to be in Heaven, or be saved by God because they have lived a good life according to what the know and their laws of the world, which God created and Christ dies for all. After they are introduced to Chirstianity, we have the reposisbility to make sure the follow the teachings of Christ and live a life as Christ would. We give them new rules. This is stated in the bible.

Only three problems with your doctrine: 1. The Bible says it isn't so; instead it states that all are guilty and without excuse (Romans 1:20), and -- as I cited earlier -- there is NO other way of salvation than through Christ (Acts 4:12) 2. Even if they lived perfect lives, they still have the sin of Adam imputed to them (Romans 5:12) 3. Only an absolutely perfect life is acceptable to God, therefore "living a good life is not sufficient" "Although God created man upright and perfect, and gave him a righteous law, which had been unto life had he kept it, and threatened death upon the breach thereof, yet he did not long abide in this honour; Satan using the subtlety of the serpent to subdue Eve, then by her seducing Adam, who, without any compulsion, did willfully transgress the law of their creation, and the command given unto them, in eating the forbidden fruit, which God was pleased, according to his wise and holy counsel to permit, having purposed to order it to his own glory. (Genesis 2:16, 17; Genesis 3:12,13; 2 Corinthians 11:3) Our first parents, by this sin, fell from their original righteousness and communion with God, and we in them whereby death came upon all: all becoming dead in sin, and wholly defiled in all the faculties and parts of soul and body. (Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12, etc; Titus 1:15; Genesis 6:5; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:10-19)" --1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith (Chapter 6, paragraphs 1 and 2) |
