1 | salvation for unbelievers? | Rom 1:20 | bpetersen5 | 212443
several ministers thru the years have told me that God and the scriptures made provision for those who never had the chance to hear the good news (see original question) but I never asked them WHERE in the bible this was found. Romans 8:38,9 seems to speak to this. Certainly God wouldn't condemn a child in China who has never had the opportunity to be exposed to religion to a life in Hell just because of the place of his birth,or would HE?
2 | salvation for unbelievers? | Rom 1:20 | Val | 212450
The bible is clear that God has put within every person an inate understanding of who He is. If the person acts on this understanding God will reach him with the gospel. It is the person's failure to act on the light he has been given that is the problem. We look at the character of God that he is holy, pure, just, righteous, can do no evil that we see that it is our misunderstanding of these mysteries rather than that somehow God is wrong or unfair. The gospel has reached China. They have been exposed to the gospel. I believe the whole known world was reached with the gospel by the Apostle Paul. John 3:16 and 17 says we were condemned already. Christ came to rescue us. You can help with the spreading of the gospel in China by supporting missionaries in that region. Blessing - Val
