1 | Do you forgive Judas? | John 13:11 | Ray | 42821 | ||
Hi Love Fountain, I think that this is an excellent question. I say that seriously having read all the posts so far. I am sorry that your question is under fire right now. I do forgive Judas. If I go to a place, house, mansion, room, crib, or shack that is near Judas and have a chance to talk to him I would express to him how sorry I am that he could not become a witness for the risen Savior. I would rejoice with him that the Lord loved him to the end. That He continued to be his friend right to the end. That He chose him and that He loses not one. If I can't rejoice with Judas in the love of the Savior for us, then we will have a hard time getting along together in the same block or in the same city. Now if Judas did go to hell and that is his place, the place that he belongs in without the grace of God, (whether by predestination or his own free will) I won't argue with the Potter. All of that is in His hands. I know that I am forgiven of my sins by God's grace. I have the expectant hope that I have a place prepared for me. I would hope that I would not lose it if I get depressed for any reason and kill myself. Why do I forgive Judas? For the same reason that I would forgive anyone; for I do not know the hearts of men. We may be surprised who we see and don't see in heaven. That is up to the Savior and Judge of all men. We should be following our Savior to the end. We should encourage everyone not to betray their friend and companion. But if we see someone sin we should say, "There but for the grace of God go I." From the heart, Ray |

Dear Ray, Thank you for your response and for your forgiveness of Judas. Ray, I have been kicked off the forum and this is why I have not responded to you. May you be truly blessed and washed in the love and mercy you display towards other believers. My accusers are guilty of their very same accusations and for this I am sad for them. If you'd like to share in discussions on Scriptures please email me at lovefountain@jesusanswers.com. Bless you Ray from my heart, Love Fountain2 Matt 5:7-11 7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
