Hi Kalos, The verse that speaks of the Eagles, Luke 17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together. The verse is nothing more then Hebrew Idiom and all it means is the following. I agree - "justice will be handed out". Justice (also translated judgment). Not heaven, not rewards. Justice/judgment will be handed out to those who are taken away. Taken away for judgment. |

Greetings Kalos, I know we both hold the same view with respect to the rapture and Jesus had just finished His dissertation of what we call the rapture starting in verse 20 of Luke 17. The ones taken are the believers, to meet the Lord in the air, and the ones left will face the wrath of God which begins with the seven trumpets and destruction by fire. 2 Thes. 1:7,8 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, [8] In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ The timing of this situation is listed in the same chapter. 2 Thes. 1:10 (A) When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, It is also expounded on in, 2 Thes. 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, Those left will face God’s wrath of fire the way I see it.
