2 | Isn't baptism needed for salvation? | Mark 16:16 | punkiedo | 111184
The thief on the cross was the last person saved under the old law and Jesus was his sacrifice for his sin. Jesus didn't say that until after his ressurection. So until Jesus died, the new covenant was not in effect until after Jesus "Gave up the Ghost" and rose from the grave. Jesus was the sacrifice for the thief's sin and like I said he was the last one saved under the law that said we had to have a blood sacrifice for remission of sin. So it is awesom to think that in essence his sin was just rolled to the cross next to him. instead of being rolled forward 1 year Jesus paid the ultimate price not just for him but for all of us, because of Jesus we no longer have to have a ram or sheep or dove to kill to roll our sins forward we can just go to him and ask him for forgiveness. 3 | Where the Scriptual proof? | Mark 16:16 | justme | 111204
Nice comment. But these are your words. Where is the Scripture to back up your thoughts? These are just fancy words by you, unless you have Scripture to prove what you say. Would you mind proving what you say with Scripture? justme |

5 | Where the Scriptual proof? | Mark 16:16 | justme | 111220
Rowdy: My point is to express nice words and repeated over herad saying is nonsense. Unless Scripture is present to back up our words it has little value. Last time I looked this is a Bible Study Forum, is it not? justme |
