How must one build a house on that Jesus rock? I believe that Jesus is that rock, he is strong, he is love; How can a growing Christian build his house on the Jesus rock. Does anyone have any study notes or summaries on this. | ||||||

Yes Jesus is the rock, 1 Cor 10. But the Rock that Jesus refered to in Luke 6 and Matt 7 is not refering to him. The Rock that he is refering to is "Doing what he says to do." The man who hears and does or acts on them MAY BE COMPARED... Hope that helps. Oh by the way, you might out to know that Jesus was teaching Jews in the four Gospels. Therefore he was expounding upon the Law, which the Christians are not under. The Gospels are important, BUT The Letters Rom-Jud are what we should be studying the most. THEY TEACH US HOW TO DO THE SAYINGS OF JESUS UNDER OUR COVENANT. Any good book on bible interp. will tell you that. |
