Tim, Another point to consider is why new wine bursts old wine skins.The reason new wine bursts old wineskins is because new wine is fermenting and creating gases that stretch the old wineskins which have lost their flexibility and ability to stretch. Hi Emmaus, Are you not saying that new wine is in process of becoming alcohol? I understand the analogy here to infer that we ought to be prepared for the stretching and expansion that takes place when we properly house the New Wine of the Spirit, whose nature is to cause us to ever expand and increase... sometimes in a rather sudden manner. |
