Truthfinder, Jesus Christ cannot be compared to angels or Satan when referring to "a god". Jesus has the power to: A. forgive sins, Matthew 9:6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. B. to rise from the dead, John 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. C. to accept our worship, John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God. Mat 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. D. hold all power of heaven and earth, Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. E. created all things, John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. F. and to truly be "God with us". Mat 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Also, the Holy Spirit is God. How can you blasphemy a "spirit power" as the NWT tries to make Him out to be inanimate? “Spirit power” sounds far too much like the inanimate “force” of Star Wars. Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. Mat 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Speaking of the Muslims, they also have no true history beyond Mohammed. They no nothing of the true nature of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel). If they understood the Trinity, then maybe they would also understand that salvation is of the Jews: John 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. The Jews did not understand the Trinity, but they still recorded “let Us make man …”: Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. The Trinity is one God, consisting of 3 Persons that are eternally distinct: Luke 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. John 1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. Pastor Glenn |
