The Bible is Right I believe any man that doesn't handle the Word of God with fear and trepidation is seriously deceived. A message is to be inspired by the Holy Spirit but the wording of the that message is hinged on the Pastor and his willingness to be a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many teachers have used an inspire message to promote their teaching or ministry rather that the Kingdom of God. The Word says they do this to their destruction. 2 Peter 2:1-22 That one warning should raise a fear in any teacher. I think some have done this unintentionally and others to accomplish their fleshly goals. However I think both stand accused of trying to share in God’s glory and that just happen! EdB |
