Brother a quick question here.In Romans Chapter 6 Paul draws a pretty clear picture of baptism.Does not Baptism as Paul portrays it represent the death burial and resurrection of Jesus. Colossians 2:12 states that we were buried with him in baptism. I think Paul makes it quite clear what baptism is all about, and for that matter so did Jesus. In Christ, lionheart |

Brother; I think we may be missing something here. Pauls treatment of this subject in Romans 6 and Colossians 2:12.Maybe we we are thinking of two different things here.Baptism puts the focus on what Jesus did and accomplished for us. No we were not physicaly crucified and buried with Jesus. But our sin was nailed to the cross with Him.The day we accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour our old man died with him.Isn't Baptism a clear portrayal of the entire salvation experience?(Death,Burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.)I will not challenge anyones faith here, but I would encourage all to carefully search out Gods Word.Gods Word is rich, and God means for his people seek and cultivate His Word in our everyday lives.
