1 | "Show me the heavenly money!" | Mark 10:21 | Levi L | 123861
Hello, I notice that no-one has posted here for three years! I'll brush off the cobwebs to moan about the rich man. Isn't it a shame that he wasn't a bit more curious. If only he'd tarried long enough to ask Jesus exactly what was on offer. What did the Lord mean by 'treasure in heaven?' The rich man seemed to weigh up the deal: - treasure on earth, (short-term wealth) was more precious to him than treasure in heaven (rewards beyond the horizon.) |

Being a woman and very insecure with my looks (I have reason to be)I am not rich, actually I am poor and getting my hair, nails, tanning, etc;just lets me feel a little better.Does God and Jesus want us to look good for ever even in heaven. He's got all the natural stuff up there but I am on earth with bad weather and cold and I love the tanning look for my self.If Jesus and his dad feel this is wrong in their eye's tell me why? |

3 | heaven is perfect but we live on earth | Mark 10:21 | pako | 160522
Woman i have good news for you, you dont have to suffer anymore, the word of God says i have come that they may have life and have it abundantly and the grace of God has made available to us God's good things, the word says Jesus Christ became poor that we might become rich and for sure it means good life,His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness,we are partakers of the nature of God that includes good health, prosperity, success. So the thing now is to receive them and how to receive these things is another topic but is by faith.
4 | heaven is perfect but we live on earth | Mark 10:21 | pako | 160625
Okay now Paul was coting the other brethren who suffered for the promise, guess what as for us we inherited the promise, Jesus Christ, we have Him now, remeber the same scripture says And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, Heb 11:40 because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect That means we dont have to suffer like they did, suffering now will be a choice. We are the generation of fulfillment, of Jesus Christ our Lord,we are joint heirs with Him that is we share of His glory dear, that is to say prosperity, divine health is yours, you need to shake yourself from the dust and declare what the word of God say you are in Christ. |

5 | heaven is perfect but we live on earth | Mark 10:21 | kalos | 160626
You write: "That means we dont have to suffer like they did, suffering now will be a choice." But God says in 2 Timothy 3:12: The American Standard Version Yea, and ALL that would live godly in Christ Jesus shall SUFFER persecution. AMPLIFIED Indeed ALL who delight in piety and are determined to live a devoted and godly life in Christ Jesus will meet with persecution [will be made to SUFFER because of their religious stand]. (Emphasis added.) |
