1 | heaven is perfect but we live on earth | Mark 10:21 | pako | 160625
Okay now Paul was coting the other brethren who suffered for the promise, guess what as for us we inherited the promise, Jesus Christ, we have Him now, remeber the same scripture says And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, Heb 11:40 because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect That means we dont have to suffer like they did, suffering now will be a choice. We are the generation of fulfillment, of Jesus Christ our Lord,we are joint heirs with Him that is we share of His glory dear, that is to say prosperity, divine health is yours, you need to shake yourself from the dust and declare what the word of God say you are in Christ. |

2 | heaven is perfect but we live on earth | Mark 10:21 | BradK | 160634
Hi pako, How do you explain the missionary, Jim Elliot? He was killed for his faith in South America by the Aucan Indians. Did he lack faith? Were divine health and prosperity not his? What of Joni Erickson Tada? Does she lack faith? Or, is she being used- by God- despite her infirmity and glorifying Him still the same? My own mother- who was a believer in the Lord Jesus- died at age 47 due to complications from a surgery for a brain tumor. Did she lack faith? Was divine health not hers? The gospel you proclaim does not meet with real life experiences (Empirical evidence) , nor the historical, orthodox test of time. In other words, it is not Biblical! 3 | heaven is perfect but we live on earth | Mark 10:21 | pako | 160682
Okay BradK what i am talking about is the Word of God and it is up to you to believe.Read 2 Corint 8;9,3John1;2.Let me ask you a question,Who brings sickness?the devil or God.You see the word of God has availed to us all good things, divine health, prosperity, success but it depends on us to partake of this and this is done through spiritual principles.Tell me can a sinner just get saved without believin and confessing(Romans 10:9-11)You see the fact that Christ died for him or her does not gurantee her everlasting life but the princeple is followed. The fact that grace has made everything available to us does not mean we live in those things(or rather we see with our naked eyes) but requires a spiritual principle of God to be practised. I hope you understand, the other thing is that the word of God is pure and it is not guided by our experiences, one might not have experienced what the word of God says concerning their lives, does that change the word?no.Thanks a lot

Dear Pako, Are you one of those people that think that God only brings health and Satan only brings sickness? This is rooted in the heresy of dualism. Here are some passages with which you are not dealing: God tears, heals, smites, binds up (Hosea 6:1); devours like a lion (Hosea 13:8); wounds, afflicts, strikes, bruises, smites, makes sore, heals, kills, makes alive (Deut 32:39; 1 Sam 2:6; Jer 31:28; Job 5:18; Isa 53:10); forms the light, creates and causes darkness (Isa 45:7; Jer 13:16; Ex 10:21; 14:10); makes peace, makes the dumb, deaf, seeing, blind (Exodus 4:11); sends sore judgments upon Jerusalem -- the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast -- (Ezek 14:21); sends an evil spirit (Judges 9:23, 1 Sam 16:14; 18:10; 19:9-10); sends evil angels (Psalms 78:49), shoots arrows and darts, breaks bones (Lam 3:12-13; Num 24:8-9; Deut 32:22); heaps mischief upon people (Deut 32:23); breaks in pieces horses, nations, chariots, rider, men, women, the young, the old, the young man, the maiden, shepherds, flocks, husbandman/yoke of oxen, captains/rulers (Jer 51:20-23); turns men to destruction (Psalms 90:3); is as a moth and rottenness (Hos 5:12); feeds and makes drunk with worm wood, gives the water of gall to drink (Lam 3:15; Jer 9:15); creates and brings evil/calamities (Isa 45:7, Jer 18:8, Job 2:10, Amos 3:6); creates the day of prosperity and the day of calamity (Ecc 7:14); etc. etc. Let me provide you with some the specific texts: The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. (1 Samuel 2:6) And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death. (Jeremiah 21:8) And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost. (Acts 12:23) There are so many verses that completely contradict your one sided view of God! Who has taught you these things, Pako? If you have to pick and choose between Scriptures, you are in possession of false doctrine. You certainly know very little of the Lord God who revealed Himself in His Word. In Him, Doc |

I agree Doc. I think many of the verses you quoted show us that God is always in control and that anything that hits us - good or bad - comes as He allows. I have a friend suffering from cancer who said just this week, that to have pain and be able to witness for Him was a great joy and He gave her strength. Awesome!
