1 | Does the OT talk about resurrection? | Matt 22:30 | CDBJ | 17623 | ||
You don't need to know Heb. to understand what is going to happen. I think you missed what was being said. The word amad could mean anything, it doesn't matter, it still wouldn't change anything even if he stood on his head. The facts is that what ever he did, after what ever he did there would come a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time. Christ said the same thing in Matt. 24:21. Maybe when Michael stood up, and the timing would be right, he went to the war that was taking place in heaven mentioned in Rev. 12:7, because what happens in the rest of Rev. 12:7-17 gives ref. to the same time of trouble that will take place in the World. Greetings CDBJ! I've heard of angels dancing on the head of a pin, but I've never heard of one standing on his head! :-) I do understand what you are trying to say. I'm just not convinced that we can tie Dan. 12:1 and 2 Thess. 2:7 together as being a reference to the same person. As far as the timing is concerned, there are alot of events that will occur at about that time as well, so I'm not real surprised about the timing. I do think you are right about Dan. 12:1 and Rev. 12. They do seem to fit together! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
