1 | Does the OT talk about resurrection? | Matt 22:30 | Ray | 16900
Hi Nolan, I can't respond to the OT and resurrection but I can give you my read of 2 Thess 2:6. 2 Thess 2:5,"Do you not remember that while I was still with you, that I was telling you these things? And you know what restrains Him now, so that in His time He may be revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. And then that lawless one will be revealed..." |

2 | Does the OT talk about resurrection? | Matt 22:30 | Makarios | 17278
Hello Ray! Yes, I would agree: it has always been my interpretation that 2 Thess. 2:5-6 was speaking of the Holy Spirit, but I could be wrong. :) So I would agree with you. Blessings to you, Nolan |

3 | Does the OT talk about resurrection? | Matt 22:30 | Ray | 17297
Hi Nolan, It would be difficult to understand why God's word (the Scriptures are about Him) would have four pronouns in a row speaking about something that is not in the context. He has to be speaking about Himself. You are agreeing then that 2 Thess 2:6,7 could well be interpreted, "And you know what restrains Him now, so that in His time He will be revealed. For the mystery of lawlesssness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way." If you are so agreeable, let me pose some questions to you about the other scriptures you posted on this thread.:) |

4 | Does the OT talk about resurrection? | Matt 22:30 | Makarios | 17316
Hello Ray! Yes, the "sentence structure" is a little odd here, and the NKJV goes as far as capitalizing "He", obviously taken to be in reference to the Holy Spirit, even though the NKJV has proven itself to be "unique" by doing this in that verse. Go ahead and ask any questions you like, Ray! Nolan |
