Subject: Things people THINK in the BIBLE but not |
Bible Note: "The Bible says that through one man, sin entered the world. I am not aware of a scripture that says it is transmitted through the blood. Please advise on this. Jesus was born of a woman, but he did not sin. Jesus also, while in the image of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be exploited, but humbled himself, taking the form of a slave, and being made in the likeness of men. So was he also formed in iniquity? Please advise on this. The Bible says that through one man, sin entered the world. I am not aware of a scripture that says it is transmitted through the blood. Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Sin entered into the world through Adam, not Eve. Jesus was not formed in iniquity, not only did Jesus not sin, there was no sin nature in him: 1 John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. There was no sin in Jesus because his father was not a man, but the Holy Ghost: Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. This is how the blood of Jesus can be substituted for our blood to wash away our sins. Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. If Jesus's blood was not shed it would have had no power to take away our sins: Hebrews 9:15-17 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
