Bible Note: Hello Tim; Thanks for you input. I just want to run one more thought past you. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. From the word "see" in the following verse. Is that in reference to spiritual sight? And if we cannot see the kingdom of heaven, until given spiritual eyes, and other spiritual senses such as "ears to hear" which are not mentioned, but I think could be included along with sight. Then isn't this somewhat of an indication, that spritual sight must be given at the time of the event we call the new birth? And if we are spiritually blind previously to the new birth, wouldn't we merely stumble in the dark without finding Jesus? This is another reason why I am leaning towards the idea, that regeneration possibly precedes faith. God Bless you brother New Creature |
