Subject: proselytizing at work |
Bible Note: Rowdy I agree but let me add. What if when a friend comes with a question or discussion you said hey I would love to discuss that with you but I want to do my work as unto the Lord and I don’t want to give Christians a bad reputation of always talking about Jesus instead of working. So how about we talk about that at lunch on break or even better come on over to my house for dinner and we can discuss it then. Do you think that would give you more notice and open still other doors. I think it would When we are hired we enter into contact whether written or not, that we promise to do x hours work for x hours pay. If we short our hours because we were sharing Jesus we have in effect cheated or broken that contract. As Christians we should be known as the most productive, most reliable, best employee. Your right people soon know who are Christians because we are peculiar people. We should stand out in a crowd not because we are always proclaiming Jesus but by the way we live, work, and talk. EdB |
