Subject: New Perspective of Sha'ul |
Bible Note: Dear Val, No I am a Gentile. A gentile by birth, being the firstborn son, of a line of firstborn sons, that came out of scotland. I have just found what I believe is to be the better way. I do not speak in a cultural way, for the ways recorded in the Bible are cross-cultural and are for all time. So, in the end, you can see that I would not be biased. Indeed, I was saved in a conservative Churches of Christ, when it was becoming charismatic, I left. I then went to a Brethren Gospel Hall (the open Brethren, not the closed Brethren), where I gained much knowledge from just sitting and listening to the Greybeards. I did not participate in Sunday School, but instead sat in on the Sermon, I believe that I benefited greatly from this. When I moved south, I fellowshipped at Gospel Halls. It was only recently, that I went to a Churches of Christ again and it was only because of the soundness of it's doctrine (rooted in conservatism). I soon started preaching there on the book of Jude. It was while studying the book of Jude, that got me thinking in a "Jewish" mindset and not the "Greek". Previously, it had been brought up to me, but I just dismissed it. This time it was He who brought it up to me and I could not refuse Him, and I tell you, I did struggle. That's my story and how I came to this understanding, not because I am a Jew, but because I am a child of the Most High God. Your brother in Y'shua HaMashiach, Talmid (Num 6:24-26) |
