Subject: New Perspective of Sha'ul |
Bible Note: Hi, Just a quick note. I did not quite understand your answer, but from what I did understand, you seemed to contradict yourself. Could you please explain yourself better (especially the word "soteriology")? By the way, what is the "New Perspective on Sha'ul"? I gave that title because of this new aspect of Sha'ul that I have recently found in reading the Scriptures, not because of any theory. If I had known that there was a theory going by that name, I would never have given such a title. Would it also be possible to quote some scripture verses that would back up what you said. As to the adage, "probably" would have to be the key word in that phrase. Remember that nothing is really "new", only rediscovered (Ecclesiastes 1:8-11). Remember that the Reformation was "new" when it happened, the Arminian and Calvinist debate was "new", and the revivals were "new". None of this was really "new", only brought to life again by HIM. I could say many things about St.Augustine, the Neo-Platonist; Martin Luther, the Anti-Semite; Charles Spurgeon, the Unitarian; and a whole host of others. Men who brought in "new" and foreign things to the simplicity of the Scriptures, but YHWH has used all of these things for His glory. I only seek to do as Y'shua and the apostles would have done, not as people did within a century of Mashiach's death and resurrection. Yours in Y'shua HaMashiach, Talmid |
