Bible Question:
No, EdB, you have not been paying. But I have been your assistat since the day I came into this family, in February of 1963. So you owe me a lot. I was about to invite you over to my hows so you could pay up, but I see that you hope not. I will just remind you that you are supposed to owe no man anything, except love. While I am here, let me invite you and the others to come over to my hows anyway. I am at http://hishows.org . One room you might like to visit is the one where I am creating an index to this forum. You will find it at http://www.hishows.bizland.com/JEWELS/jewellist.html. At this time it has many of the topics that I have been involved in. When you come you can bring with you the link to any other topic that you would like to see added. Drop it off in the (e-mail) mail box. |
Bible Answer: Aixen7z4 Thank you for your invite to you site but I think you should have asked Lockman’s permission to advertise on their site. But I guess everyone does it, but is it right? I went also to the other address you provided that listed the forums. I see in many cases you questions of the forum and then posted the thread address that containing these answers to your website. I wonder if you should have asked Lockman's and the posters permission before you took their labors to enhance your website? Again I guess everyone does it but does that make it right? I visited your site once before but your site is so graphics heavy I stopped my browser before it finished. All those graphics on a dial up connection takes a looooong time to load. Tonight I let it finish and I find I'm completely lost. The little icons on the top bar are far to small to read and there is no hint of what they do. The bottom bar is also very confusing. May I suggest that you clean up your home page. I refuse to start clicking on icons and going places on the web where I have no idea what is going to happen. I'm very careful of viruses and such. I clicked on a few links on the side bar items. I guess the info is good but I prefer full page web pages not a bunch of info crammed into a small area. I really didn’t read much to busy looking for me. I have learned you need to incorporate white space in items you want people to read. If it is to full many people (I’m one) just won’t begin reading it. If you wan to test this look at church bulletins if they have about 50 percent white space they probably are read if the contain lees than 20 percent research shows nothing is read. There are many books written on graphic design that you may want to consult. Also the structure of your site turns me off and I didn't fully explore it. If you redesign it let me. I will be happy to revisit. As for everyone speaking for me I thank you. I was busy today and didn't have a chance to see any of this dialogue until just now. I think Nobel was joking back with me (i'm not totally sure) but in any case thanks everyone that came to my defense. Noble once again I think you for your invite to your web site however I guess I ask as did Searcher56 is this appropriate way to get people to your site? EdB |
