Bible Note: Pam You said, “Ya, know, I think I would like to go to college to study the Bible after my kids finish college. It would be awesome to be able to have a bunch of professors answer my questions about the Bible!” Pam you know it is never too late or too early, there are many excellent correspondent courses studies. Most denominations have some form a training available to those that desire more in-depth study. The Assemblies of God has the Berean university offering a college education which is correspondence oriented. They also have a program called the Urban School of Bible which is training program for men and women that desire to be trained for ministry. There are also many local Bible Schools and seminaries scattered around the country that offer excellent training opportunities. Let me say one thing and I’m sure Tim will agree you will leave college asking more question than you did when you entered. In my study the thing I really learned was all the new questions my studies revealed. EdB |
