Bible Question:
AO, How can you say that? You say that Mankind cannot change the plan, but, you can change your role in it?? What?? If you are put in His plan you do have a role in it! If you take yourself out, you change His master plan, because your name is written on the list to begin with. If God has cast you or has changed your heart of stone to a heart of flesh (Ezek 36:26-27) and helps you to see His wonderous plan for you why would you go against it? Yes salvation is of the Lord (Jonah 2:9) It is centered on HIM! He will build His church regardless. Sola Scriptura Mike |
Bible Answer: Hi MIke, I know I am jumping in the middle of a discussion but one observation I would like to share Consider the term "Master Plan". Ezekiel 33. God is using the comparison of His prophet to that of a watchman, and clearly indicates the watchman may or may not do what he should do and states the consequences. The reality of man's free will can be found in the 'consequences' of the Word. If there were no choice, there could be no consequences.. ...God has a plan for mankind. He has a plan for each of us. He is not surprised when we disobey and neither does it disrupt His plan. Why? Because His plan is formed from perfect WISDOM. He knows, He knew, and He has 'written' the end down for us. But if I refuse to witness to someone and they do not ever receive the Lord, their blood is on my hands. I am responsible for seeking out God's will and following that plan as He directs... Any observations? God bless |
