Subject: What exactly must a person to be saved? |
Bible Note: "You have not taken a single one of them and explained how the passages telling Christians to obey aren't REALLY telling Christians to obey." They can't because telling is like commanding. Commanding is like having to. Having to makes a bad outcome if you don't do what you are told. Then it just comes around to me and works and not God. God's doing it. Every act I do is credited to God. It is to His credit and glory. Others see the Christian in action and glorify not the man but God the doer. Wait, I'm reading the last part...are you saying that faith and works are equal. That's been disproven, I'm sure. You agree with Romans and then you say just the opposite. I always say the same thing and I don't change. If works are EVIDENCE then you must think there is no honor to God when someone says they are saved without EVIDENCE, but faith alone. I think we are saying the same thing but in a different way. The first question: what must a person do to be saved? Answer: Faith alone; God's gift is Faith; My part is nothing. God gets all the glory. |
