Subject: What exactly must a person to be saved? |
Bible Note: My friend, forgive me if I am wrong but I hear 'offense' in your tone. Let me explain something that my previous post may have not made clear. As a child of God, our first and foremost obligation is to love and to love is to spread the gospel-the good news of Jesus the Messiah's salvation. We would be doing you a grave injustice if we did not ask these questions and attempt to guide someone/anyone in the direction of the cross where salvation is obtained. Especially in this time we are in with relativism being taught as truth, are we obligated to ask. When you stand before the Lord, I do not want your blood on my hands because I did not tell you the truth. Actually the question," Why should I let you into my heaven?" has only one response that will be acceptable to the Lord: Because I am washed in the blood of the lLamb, Jesus the Christ. All our righteousness, all our justification has been given to us as a free gift through Jesus sacrificial death and His ressurrection wherein He sent the Holy Spirit and sealed our covenant. The righteousness and justification we possess through faith is HIS righteousness and HIS justifiction and we are 'clothed' in them by faith. God Bless |
