Subject: Only seal and horse in same verse Rev6:5 |
Bible Note: Tim I have two Bible programs and both have Strong's both point to Greek 5516 and this is a word for word copy from them. And they both say the 14 and obsolete letter was a cross. See below. chi xi stigma, Greek 5516, Strong’s chi xi stigma, the twenty-second, fourteenth and an obsolete letter (Greek 4742 (stigma) as a cross) of the Greek alphabet (intermediate between the fifth and sixth), used as numbers; denoting respectively six hundred, sixty and six; six hundred sixty-six as a numeral :- six hundred threescore and six. This in no way is saying that Casiv is right in his interpretation only in what he said Strong's says. Your also right all other manuscripts seem to use 'hexakosioi hexakonta hex' or six hundred sixty six. EdB |
