Subject: Can anyone give me more reasons? |
Bible Note: your arguement seems to have errors first of all you say the catholics didn't except any of the books of the apocrypha till the 16th century then why were most of them included in the latin vulgate Which was translated by saint Jerome, who lived from 347 to 420. You also say it advicates immorall practices. Assasination is not an immoral practice Ecclesiastes 3:3 says there is "a time to kill" Several places in the bible advocate assasination Numbers 25 Joshua 10 2 Chronicles 23 While I don't know if the apocrypha advocates immoral practices you seem to be arguing because someone is mentioned in these books aas engaging in such practices it advocates them. By using the same logic, I can say the book of Judges advocates prostitution. Judges 16:1 Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her. Your qoute from the book of Wisdom you say is about Marry I thought it was written long before Marry was born or is their reason to think otherwise. |
