Bible Note: How do you know Ceasar or Herod or Alexander or anybody else who died before you existed existed? By faith my friend, because of what has been passed down to you. Faith and reason are not at odds with one another, neither are they the same. They are both gifts, but complementary gifts. No one can make another believe in God by argument or "proof" alone. Never happened, never will. "You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make him drink." On the other hand, if a thirsty horse finds water there is nothing you can do to keep him from drinking. |
