Subject: A SIN TO FILE BANKRUPTCY |
Bible Note: GB I could very well be self righteousness but then again it could be a statement of fact. I know I often find it so easy to dismiss or justify my iniquities by claiming it conforms to my sin nature, however God did call us to holiness? Will I ever obtain a sinless life? No not this side of heaven but does that give me permission to stop trying to live sinless? I don’t think so. Will “real” Christians ever file bankruptcy? Absolutely! However the real question then becomes should they try to justify it and dismiss their action or should they try correct it in hopes of repaying what they promised to pay? Perhaps I should have said for anyone to do that would violate the precepts, statues, and commands Jesus gave us. Therefore for one to do such a thing would stand in opposition to Christ's teachings and I would think they would want to immediately correct the situation. EdB |
