Subject: What is a repentance from dead works? |
Bible Note: Greetings Rowdy, can we agree to disagree here? God loves me unconditionally; He loves me even when I was alienated by sin from Him. (Romans 5:8) There is nothing that I can do to make Him love me more or less than He does right now. There is nothing that I can DO to get into Heaven except BELIEVE in what Jesus Christ has already DONE. It is on the basis of HIS work that God credits me with HIS righteousness. Again, Jesus said, "Apart from Me, you can DO nothing." (John 15:5) We've gone round and round about this on other threads, you believe that salvation requres Grace "and" - I believe that my salvation is a gift that I do nothing to earn or keep - it is by God's Grace alone that I am saved.
