Subject: Is the Bible itself evil? |
Bible Note: Now it's your turn to listen. I did come here to get some one elses thoughts in this matter. I am not here to fight, but I too must be upfront and honest. If all you are going to do is talk about me leaving, then feel free not to read my post. I don't mean to offend anyones sense of religion, though I know a question like this sets peoples teeth on edge. I am simply asking for other peoples thoughts. I never once said I believe the bible to be evil. I simply want to know if anyone else has pondered this. I asked for people to keep an open mind. Not to fight with me and ask me to consider going elsewhere, simply because I ask a question that flies in the face of christian belief. Ok, I must apologize. I thought maybe, we could speak openly about something that was troubling me personally. I can see now that is not allowed. You are exactly the reason I pull away from religion. You think I just asked that question to be rude and slander your book? That's not it. I do thank you for spending the time to doubt me and MY beliefs though. It's always such a pleasure to talk religion. |
