Paul wrote "All scripture is God-breathed," (2 Timothy 3:16), graphe in Greek. The point: The writings are inspired, not the interpretation we think God is giving us. The proper role of the Holy Spirit is to illuminate what is already there in the inspired words. This is why the words should be our focus, not our feelings. (...)
