Bible Note: Steve, Thank you for those scriptures. I've never read them in that way before. I want to research it more though. You asked me why I want to force this burden on myself. My answer is that I just don't think that God intended this to be a burden any more than keeping the Sabbath or any other commandment. I do however see what your saying about the Jews and Gentiles diets. However I must refur back to Noah and his family who were NOT JEWS. God told them two only take TWO of the unclean and seven of the CLEAN. I assume that God didn't intend for them to eat any of the unclean or he would have had them take a couple more of them perhaps. And I also beleive that I am engrafted in the same vine as the Jews. So I am a spiritual Jew(In Christ)He in me/And me in Him. To put this in perspective, I don't think that unclean foods and alcohaul are all that different. We can find scripture to perhaps show the liberty of both these substances. But many more to show how bad they are for us. My question is then: If I pray for my alcohaul, Is It now pure as is my unclean foods when I pray for them? Or are both still Bad in Gods eyes. This is my concern because the Bible says that we will be judged on what we have done to our Body wether it be good or Bad...Again, thank you for your perspective, Im going to check it out more.
